The Clear and Dear Ramblings of an Ever Searching Kid
Why I bother writing in the first place.... I've been writing poetry for a long, long time now. For almost as long as I can remember. I don't write because I feel like I'm intellectually or emotionally superior to anyone else, I do it because I, like everyone else, am searching for something much bigger than me. I have faith, of course in Jesus Christ, not because it's been forced down my throat by my parents, but because everytime I stray, I find him in the words I write, and the love I attempt to live. Instead of taking my struggle out on people around me, I write. Ya know what they say! Don't hate, create!!!! Crap, I am such a hippie! | Why I am putting up this seemingly unecessary website... Because writing means nothing if not shared, words can make or break. Hopefully some of mine can make people think and feel a little less alone. Because I wholeheartedly believe that there are two things all people can understand... love and pain. Those two concepts are what poetry is all about. On the left hand corner of your screen are various poetry collections of mine. and now they are yours as well. If you leave this site, remembering just one line that you can relate to, well, is there anything more a poet can ask for? The answer to that is a resounding no. |
